Magical Tides of Phi Phi

Low tide season on Phi Phi Island was magical. From 4PM to 8AM, the tides recede, and left was long stretch of shallow water - a foot deep at most. One could just keep walking, and water never seemed to get deeper.

The long boats parked one next to another on the damp, muddy, sandy beach. The water would return the next day. The boats would be buoyant once again.
